Gender-Affirming Support
Many of the people I work with are trans, nonbinary, gender-expansive, questioning, or gender non-conforming. Some are early in their exploration. Others have been living in their gender for years, want support navigating new chapters, or simply wanting a place where they don’t have to explain the basics of their experience.
Some things we might work on together:
Exploring gender identity or questioning what feels true
Processing dysphoria, gender euphoria, or complicated feelings about your body
Preparing for or integrating gender-affirming medical care (HRT, surgery, etc.)
Navigating coming out, transition, or changes in relationships
Reconnecting with your body and sense of embodiment
Exploring sexuality, pleasure, and intimacy in the context of gender
Healing from experiences of stigma, discrimination, or rejection
Building a life that feels more aligned with who you are
Support for medical transition
If you are pursuing gender-affirming medical care, I can support you with the emotional and practical aspects of that process. This might include:
Exploring readiness and expectations
Processing fears or excitement around medical transition
Writing support letters when appropriate
Integrating changes and identity shifts over time
My approach follows an informed consent and client-led model. My role is not to gatekeep your gender, but to support you in making thoughtful, resourced decisions about your body and life.
