Depression & Anxiety
Many people come to therapy because something in their inner world feels heavy, tense, or stuck. Depression and anxiety can show up in different ways for different people—sometimes as persistent worry or overthinking, sometimes as exhaustion, numbness, or a sense of disconnection from yourself and your life.
These experiences are incredibly common, and they often make sense in the context of capitalism, oppression, and what someone has lived through. Rather than viewing depression or anxiety as something “wrong” with you, I approach them with curiosity: What are these experiences trying to tell us? What does your nervous system need right now?
